Science Explorers! K - 2 In-Person

Come explore science with fun activities and hands-on experiments! Each program will teach a different concept. 

This is geared towards children in kindergarten through second grade. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off their child but remain in the building. Please register for each date individually.

Registration is required. There are no seats available but a waiting list is available.

AUG: 

8-26 Sink/Float - Will it sink or float? We’ll make predictions and learn all about density! 

SEPT: 

9-9 Surface Tension – Ready, set, go! We’ll have water drop races and see how many drops of water we can fit on different coins. 

9-23 Chromatography – We'll explore the concept of chromatography and make beautiful leaves to celebrate the first day of fall.  

OCT: 

10-14 Potential and Kinetic Energy – Come launch paper airplanes and pom pom balls with rubber bands and spoons! We’re learning all about energy! 

10-28 Solid/Liquid/Gas - We’ll have a solid time exploring the three states of matter. It will be a gas!
