“Then, one day...” Making Sense of Your Loss or Difficulty Through Storytelling In-Person
School-age children and their adults are invited to join award-winning professor and Creative Writing Director at the nationally ranked Wilkes University MFA graduate program, David Hicks, PhD, for a storytime and writing workshop. He will read his new children’s book The Magic Ticket and help participants identify pivotal events in their life to shape them into a unique story. Through his picture book and the writing process, David helps participants craft their own story of loss, grief, or difficulty.
This event is for children ages 8+ and an adult. Registration required.
Please note: loss of a sibling and loved ones will be discussed.
