Beyond the Classroom: Micro Solar Grids In-Person
Weekly enrichment activities for kids in grades 3-5 who are homeschoolers, online academy youth, and Frontier Academy students who aren't in school on Friday afternoons. Beyond the Classroom sessions feature STEM activities, arts and crafts, and a variety of other experiences for kids to connect, explore, and discover in a non-traditional forum. In Beyond the Classroom: Micro Solar Grids, kids will learn what a solar grid is, how it works and will take apart solar lights to further investigate solar power and how it is being used to help citizens in Rwanda.
