Black History Live: Louis Armstrong In-Person
Experience Black History come to life! In the annals of 20th-century American music, there is Before Louis Armstrong and After Louis Armstrong. He transformed American music through his trumpet playing and singing and is arguably one of the most influential musical artists of the 20th century.
Through Marvin Jefferson's dynamic performance, you will learn more about Armstrong's significant contributions to American history and culture as he speaks about Armstrong's life and answers questions in character.
This presentation, which is part of the Colorado Humanities’ Black History Live tour, is free and open to the public.
