Mariachi in March In-Person
What's better than mariachi music and a special book reading by a local author? Both at the same time!
The exuberant sound of traditional Mexican mariachi music is a perfect compliment to local author Denise Vega's book "Adela's Mariachi Band." Join us for an author talk and book reading, followed by crafts and mariachi music.
This event is open to all. Crafts and activities will be geared towards elementary aged children and younger.

Denise Vega is the award-winning author of seven books from toddler to teen, including Adela’s Mariachi Band/Los Mariachis de Adela, illustrated by Erika Rodríguez Medina (Spanish edition translated by Carlos E. Calvo) and If Your Monster Won't Go to Bed, a 2018 Crystal Kite Award winner along with magazine publications. She enjoys hiking, walking, reading, French fries and dark chocolate—not necessarily together!
