Reel Skills: Fly Tying with the Experts In-Person

Learn the art of fly tying with the experts from Platte Rivers Veterans in Reel Skills! Whether you're a seasoned angler or a complete beginner, this hands-on workshop will teach you essential fly-tying terms, techniques, and best practices. By the end of the session, you'll take home your very own handcrafted fly—and possibly a new favorite hobby!

All supplies are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own fly-tying equipment if they have it.

Open to adults and high schoolers, children 12-15 older must attend with an adult.

Registration is preferred to ensure enough materials for everyone. Join us and get hooked on the craft of fly tying!

This month we'll be tying the foam ant fly. Foam ant flies are primarily designed to attract trout and panfish.
