Community seed exchange
Participate in the community Spring seed exchange - this event is free and open to the public.
Bring your seeds to share and exchange with other gardening enthusiasts, get some gardening tips, and grow connections.
Let’s grow something great together!
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to start your spring garden.
Here’s how it works:
Donate Seeds Ahead of Time: Drop off your labeled seed donations at the Carbon Valley Regional Library service desk from March 31st to April 28, 2025.
Seeds can be store-bought or saved from your own garden - please ensure they’re clearly labeled with the plant type and variety. Examples: "Sunflower - Mammoth", "Tomato - Cherokee Purple"
Attend the seed exchange on Saturday, May 3, 2pm - 4pm
Bring any last-minute seeds to contribute, collect seeds to take home for your garden, talk to fellow gardeners, and browse the library's collection of gardening books.
All leftover seeds will be used to start the Carbon Valley seed library collection!
