Beyond the Classroom: Sponge Boat Armada In-Person
Weekly enrichment activities for kids in grades 3-5 who are homeschoolers, online academy youth, and Frontier Academy students who aren't in school on Friday afternoons. Beyond the Classroom sessions feature STEM activities, arts and crafts, and a variety of other experiences for kids to connect, explore, and discover in a non-traditional forum. In Sponge Boat Armada, kids will hoist anchor and "set sail" on a sardine-tin-sized boat built out of sponges, staffed by buoyant cork crew member.
