Join us at the LINC Library for an engaging and timely conversation exploring the importance of free speech in today’s social, political, and digital landscapes. Our panel will discuss the current challenges facing First Amendment rights and how local communities can actively safeguard these freedoms. Whether you're concerned about censorship, freedom of expression, or civic engagement, this discussion will provide insights, strategies, and opportunities for collective action.
Panelist 1: Professor Leticia Sara-Professor of Political Science (Aims), Panelist 2: Michelle White-School Librarian and Public Librarian, and Panelist 3: Cherri Martinez-Manager of Midnight Oil. Moderator Dr. Lu Benke - Retired Children's Librarian and current library consultant.
