Science Explorers! K-2 In-Person

Come explore science with fun activities and hands-on experiments! Each program will teach a different concept. 

This is geared towards children in kindergarten through second grade. Parents are welcome to stay, or drop off their child but remain in the building. Please register for each date individually.

JAN: 

1-13 Diffusion – What happens when you put Skittles candy in water? This will be a fun and colorful lesson in diffusion.  

1-27 Gravity and Lift – Come make a hoop glider and learn the physics behind how it flies. 

FEB: 

2-10 Absorption - We’re combining science and art to make beautiful pictures with salt! 

2-24 Sound – We'll explore the science of sound waves and make crazy kazoos!
