Climate Conversations: Gardening & Climate Change In-Person
How can our gardens and landscapes be more resilient in a changing climate? This event brings together a Master Gardener sharing information on water-wise landscaping and native plants, and a Master Composter telling the surprising stories behind compost—from historic “guano wars” to the politics of waste. Together, the talks will offer fun and thought-provoking ideas, as well as practical tips for adapting your garden to heat, drought, and changing conditions.
Climate Conversations at the LINC Library Innovation Center is hosted by the Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) Greeley chapter. CCL is a non-partisan organization that promotes solutions to the current climate crises. The goal is to provide information on various topics surrounding climate issues, to show many sides of the discussion and to get citizens thinking about solutions and obtain a better understanding of the situation. Free and open to the public. Registration is preferred.
