Trimble® SketchUp® Project Spectrum - 3D Modelling Class In-Person
Learn to use SketchUp®, the most widely used 3D modelling software in the world, presented by Casey Grothus, from Trimble®
Turn an idea in your head into a computer model you can build in the real world. Examples of sketch-up applications are: Architecture, Interior Design, Landscapes, Video Games, 3D Printable Designs, Crime Scene Investigations, and more.
The class begins with teaching the basics of SketchUp. After getting a few of the basics down, the participants are encouraged to create projects based on their own interests and passions. Instruction includes both group learning and individualized support.
SketchUp Project Spectrum serves middle school students, high school students, transition-age learners and adults. Classes are designed with autistic participants in mind, and individuals with any form of neurodiversity are welcome.
Participants should be comfortable using a computer (typing, mouse, basic keyboard skills) and have an interest in learning 3D modeling. No prior SketchUp experience is required.
