Climate Conversations - Health impacts of climate change In-Person
The effects of climate change on human health are far reaching and rapidly becoming a reality for us in northern Colorado. Extreme heat, poor air and water quality, flooding, and increased risks of insect, water, and food-borne infections are just a few of the impacts that will pose ongoing challenges to the health of you, your family and our community. Join us in an interactive discussion to learn about the most common risks we face and explore ways to minimize the harms we are already experiencing. Bring your questions, concerns and ideas.
Climate Conversations at the LINC Library Innovation Center are hosted by the Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) Greeley chapter. CCL is a non-partisan organization that promotes solutions to the current climate crises. The goal is to provide information on various topics surrounding climate issues, to show many sides of the discussion and to get citizens thinking about solutions and obtain a better understanding of the situation. Free and open to the public. Registration is preferred.
