Climate Conversations - Faith, climate change and the environment

Climate Conversations - Faith, climate change and the environment In-Person

Let there be light… but does it have to be energy-efficient? This first event in the Weld County Climate Conversation series is about how religious faith asks us to care for the Earth and structure our action on climate change. After a brief introduction by a climate scientist, religious leaders from around Weld County will answer questions in a panel discussion: what do the Bible and other holy books say about the environment? How might concern about climate change fit into someone’s lived faith and religious values? Attendees will be welcome to ask questions and engage in a broader conversation.
